Micro (ABS) Engraving Laminate
Micro Engraving Laminate is a high-quality engraving material designed for rotary engraving and cutting. Made with a durable ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) core and a microthin surface layer, it creates sharp lettering and detailed graphics with a clean, professional finish. Known as ABS laminate, Micro laminate or Gravoply 2 Laminate.
Available in a wide range of colours, finishes and thicknesses, our micro engraving laminate sheets are ideal for both commercial and hobby engraving projects. They are designed primarily for rotary engraving but can also be laser engraved where appropriate.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Micro laminate the same as Traffolyte?
No. Traffolyte is a hard laminate made from highly compressed paper. If you are looking for a hard laminate, see our Abet hard Laminate section. Micro laminate also goes by the name of ABS laminate or Gravoply 2 laminate.
Can it be rotary engraved?
Yes. It is designed for rotary engraving using carbide cutters.
Can it be laser engraved?
Yes. It can be laser engraved, although it is designed primarily for rotary engraving. It is not recommended to laser cut the material as it can produce a lot of smoke and residue. Always use suitable laser settings and extraction.
How can you cut micro ABS laminate?
You can use a rotary cutter, scroll saw, Varga saw, or guillotine.
How do you use micro laminate?
Avoid Deep Engraving the materials. You only want to engrave the microthin foil cap layer to prevent melting and raised edges.
