Our History and Values

908 Ltd has established itself as a leading UK supplier to the engraving and sign industry. Since 2007, the company has grown on the strength of quality products and exceptional customer service.

Managing Director Beverley Garden, who has over 20 years’ experience in the engraving industry, founded the company in Blaydon on Tyne and relocated it to Consett, County Durham, in Unit No.1 Industrial Estate.

Leveraging our industry expertise, we secured relationships with top global manufacturers, enabling 908 Ltd to offer one of the largest online ranges of engraving materials in the UK. Our sheet products support both rotary and laser engraving, while in-house cutting, bevelling, corner rounding, and drilling provide a complete cut-to-size service.

Recognising a gap in the market, Beverley also developed a unique range of label and sign holders, initially aimed at professional gardeners, which expanded into the popular 908 Label & Sign Holder range seen at trade exhibitions.

At 908 Ltd, we operate a fully equipped cutting shop, allowing us to supply all our materials precisely cut to your specifications. Whether you need acrylic, metals, or plastics, our in-house team ensures every piece meets your requirements. Read more about our cutting service here.

We also run two CO₂ laser machines as part of our production process, using a large portion of our own materials to create products for our other division, The Garden Labelling and Sign Company. This hands-on experience with our laser materials gives us invaluable insight into how each product performs, allowing us to provide expert guidance to customers new to CO₂ laser technology or working with our materials for the first time.

Our laser capabilities include:

  • Universal VLS6.60 CO₂ laser – 50W, bed size 810mm x 457mm, operated via CorelDraw. Compatible with CDR, AI, DXF, and JPEG files.
  • Boxford BGL 1390 CO₂ laser – 100W, bed size 1300mm x 900mm, operated via Lightburn. Compatible with CorelDraw and Lightburn files, plus CDR, AI, DXF, and JPEG formats.

Meet Beverley, the Owner/Director of 908 Ltd. She started working as 908 Ltd, in 2007 from a premises in Blaydon Upon Tyne. Beverley has grown the company over the years, into what it is today. She can be mainly found in the office but often offers her skills in the cutting shop and the packing department. In her spare time, she loves to get away to relax. Her favourite spot being the Lake District. Or, anywhere that she can go for a Spa Day! She also spends her time with her loved ones and will never say no to some afternoon tea!

Meet Lauren, our Sales Administrator. She joined us in December 2025 and has quickly become a valued part of the team. Lauren brings a fresh perspective and plenty of energy to the office, as well as looking after our social media. In her spare time, she loves exploring new places with her family and planning their next weekend getaway. She also loves trying new places to eat and is always on the lookout for a good food recommendation!

Meet Logan, the newest member of our team. He’s joined us to complete his Lean Manufacturing Level 2 Apprenticeship and is enjoying getting stuck into his new role and learning more about the business. In his spare time, Logan enjoys creating 3D-printed replicas inspired by his favourite films and computer games. He also enjoys going to music events together with his sister. We’re looking forward to seeing Logan grow and develop with the team!

Meet Laz, the newest member of our team, who is working across our warehouse and manufacturing side of the business. He loves to be ‘hands on’ and get stuck in and will turn his hand to any challenge. When he’s not working, you’ll find him at home completing home renovations on his old Bungalow or sitting under a tree writing and illustrating children’s books accompanied by a decent slice of cake! He enjoys country walks with family and his beloved Border Collie.
